The self service kiosk is also known as an interactive kiosk. Kodak’s photo kiosk machines made kiosks popular. The hardware devices are known as self service kiosks. The hardware work in collaboration with the self service software to enable the performance of a number of transactions. Self services kiosks have a touch screen or a keyboard. Some even include coin and bill depositors, receipt and ticket printers, product arrays that are robotic, card readers and many other mechanical devices that are complex.
